"Marry Me Chicken":
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken
breasts
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 cup buttermilk
2 large eggs
2 cups panko bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line a baking sheet with
parchment paper.
2. Season chicken breasts with salt
and pepper.
3. In a shallow dish, mix together the
flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion
powder, thyme, basil, oregano,
cayenne pepper, and rosemary.
4. In another shallow dish, whisk
together buttermilk and eggs.
5. In a third Shallow dish, mIx
together panko bread crumbs,
Parmesan cheese, salt, and
pepper.
6. Dip each chicken breast first in the
flour mixture, then in the egg
mixture, and finally in the panko
mixture, making sure to coat well.
7. In a large skillet, heat the butter
and olive oil over medium heat.
8. Add chicken to the skillet and cook
until golden brown, about 3-4
minutes on each side.
9. Transfer chicken to the prepared
baking sheet and bake in the oven
for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked
through.
